Nabootique

Heres a custom cardstock building I've been working on. Made my own textures in photoshop. Made with 1.5mm card. Based on a London style shop. The width is 4" and I plan to make a few more of the same and hope they fit to a grid system for my terrain.

  1. It looks very good, although I fail to understand Londoners fascination with jellied eels. Yuck!

  3. Very nice. Great job on the windows especially, I like the different window dressings all together like that.

  4. Thanks!
Vampifan- yes, jellied eels are disgusting, but looks good as a sign!
Luckyjoe- thanks. I thought about making glossy windows, maybe with gloss paper, but ended up just using matt ones. They are cut out and recessed slightly, an attempt to make it more 3d without too much hassle.

Must make some more, not much of a London street with only one house, but I'm one of those people who gets side-tracked/distracted easily. For instance, I have also started making some post apoc scenery, fallout style, and want to make a desert terrain board to place it all on. And I want a jungle board, But thats another project...

  5. The Boosh is loose! That's a gorgeous job. Do you plan on making them available to others?

  6. Thanks. My friends a fan of the Boosh, so thought it would be funny as a backdrop. Not sure about making them available, not sure about copyright, and the files are a bit of a mess and might only make sense to me! :)
